It is pleasing to look at all three of Kolohe Andino’s fins above this North Point lip. Mostly because we dig watching Kolohe light up a lip, no matter where it is, but also because this is not an angle of North Point you see often. It’s been afforded to us by Trevor Moran, who doesn’t entirely ignore the Great White elephant in the room, but doesn’t let it cripple him either. “It’s spooky suiting up for sure,” says Trevor. “But once you get out there, you just go into work mode and have a job to do. You can’t be bothered worrying about every little ripple in the ocean. If you started to let your mind wander while you were out in the ocean it would run out of control. You’ve just gotta keep it in check.”
