But unfortunately on this occasion, such letdowns also! “The coastline around this area of central California is quite beautiful although incredibly hard to navigate,” says the shooter of this moment, Mr Matthew OíBrien. “Finding a workable wave can take days of driving and when you do finally find that wave, it can be ruined by the presence of a lone white shark. This session lasted only 20 minutes before Eli saw a shark. A real bummer too ’cause this’d be our only shootable session for the next few weeks.”
