Yesterday, the Quiksilver Pro, Gold Coast coughed back to life at very small Snapper Rocks. And around the corner at D’bah, just as has been the case most days of the event’s waiting period, the swell was slightly bigger and the starved crowd was jacked. Kevin Shulz, a fabulous Californian surfer, injured his foot early into his trip to Oz, so he’s been making the most of its remainder by doing time behind the lens. Dylan Goodale, pictured here, is also trying to make good use of his time in Oz – as evidenced here – and even if these conditions aren’t the greatest for throwing heat, this sure is an aesthetically pleasing moment, and very indicative of the Gold Coast’s status quo.
