Creed McTaggart, fin slip at Bondi Beach, NSW

Right now, being autumn, is the best time of year for waves on Australia’s east coast. Creed McTaggart, pictured here, was lucky enough to be in Bondi yesterday on a rare day of decent swell and friendly winds (though not as lucky as he could’ve been, since it’s even better today and he ain’t around anymore). The reason he was in town was for a Stab Style shoot, the results of which you’ll see soon. The shoot will feature Creed doing what he does, looking the way he does, with that kinky little scissor earring of his swinging away. Pre-shoot, howevs, he did a different kinda modelling on the south end shorebreak. He was running on three hours sleep, having just jumped off a red eye from Perth, which is the land he calls home. But if there’s one thing pro-surfers are good at, it’s being able to perform after a body-shocking stint of travel. This frontside, grip pad-free finner may be autopilot, but that makes it no less pretty.
