California for the most parts been cold, wet and windy but there has been moments of gold in-between the storm. It’s been raining for three straight days on the state’s southern coast. Which may not sound like a lot, but for the residents it’s the longest stretch of rain in distant memory. “El Niño has arrived!” says lensman Peter King. “Couple quick tucks on the high tide in HB at sunrise before racing up to the points Santa Barbara for the afternoon low tide…wish us luck!” Plenty of swell on the California coast right now, you just got to look.
