“ Andrew is a big frickin’ kid.  He’s well over six feet tall, so fitting him in a California barrel can be a bit tough,” admits Tom. After some searching a couple days ago, we found an epic little sandbar that made for some fun shooting. The waves weren’t that big and round, so the fisheye helped the photos quite a bit. When you’re real close it helps bow out the edges and make the tubes look bigger than they really are. The offshores we’ve been having all week are quite a bonus too.”
