A World Class Shaper Answers Your Most Pressing Questions

And he answers them honestly, no less.

Quite some time ago, we ran a poll on our IG story asking you to send in questions you’d want answered by a world-class shaper. Then Paul Evans, one of our writers, sat down with said shaper and asked a handful of your best questions over beers. We filmed the whole ordeal, and now you get to see it, if you’d like.

The shaper, Christiaan Bradley, moved from Tasmania and earned his stripes as a sander on the Goldie before transitioning into work as Al Merrick’s Europe-based ghost shaper. After a handful of years rubbing shoulders with — and gaining knowledge from — top-tier shapers and surfers, Bradley started his own label focused on building quality high-pro sleds. He’s also no stranger to experimentation and asymmetry. Based in Hossegor, he now builds his boards out of EuroGlass.

In his chat with Paul, they cover mind-surfing for customers, the most overrated shaper in the world, and when your board will be ready.  It’s a candid conversation between two friends about stuff you’re probably interested in.

Go ahead, learn something. All it takes is a click.
