Spring means flowers, warm weather and the inundation of one’s inbox with marketing emails announcing your favorite brand’s latest collaborative efforts.
It’s no secret we at Stab love our Vans (duh). The crew over at Waffle Sole Incorp. have been busy as of late, releasing their hit Surf-Treks as well as two fresh colorways with Noah Clothing. Today we bring you their latest release with So-Cal based Noon Goons.
Noon Goons have been on our radar for a while now. Founded by Kurt Narmore, the label is rooted in the surf and skate communities that inspired Steve Van Doren to begin his now-infamous footwear label. While the aesthetic and ethos of the two brands are completely different, a good collaboration plays into the hands of all parties involved, which we can honestly say is the case with the below product.

According to Kurt: “I grew up wearing Vans, and all of my friends surf for them. As a brand, we are so deep in Southern California culture. We knew that if we ever did shoes, it would have to be with Vans.”
With this marking the first collaboration between the two, Kurt and creative director Sam Jarou utilized models that they wore grow up. This includes the Old Skool Style 36 in both Hi and Los, both featuring a tonal snakeskin effect, along with a blue velvet slip-on with some bitchin’ leopard print soles.
While we may hate the emails that come along collab season, it’s partnerships like this that make it all worth it in the end. Click here to get yours. Act fast, word is these puppies are moving!
