Tya Zebrowski Becomes Youngest CT Qualifier In History
The 14-YO French Tahitian has a 100% finals day strike rate in Challenger Series events.
Tya Zebrowski, the 14-YO phenom, has just made history by becoming the youngest ever CT qualifier after advancing through the round of 48 in Saquarema.
Qualifying so early in the season (we’re only mid-way through the fifth of seven events) is due to a perfect finals day strike rate (including on her debut last season, where she placed runner-up in Ericiera).

In 2025 Tya lists: a first in Ericeira, a second at the USO in Huntington, a third in Newcastle and a fifth in Ballito. A record that’ll have a few CT vets sleeping a little lighter before Bells.
At Stab High Japan in 2024, Zebrowski impressed with her air game, sticking clean air reverses frontside and backside. Pair that progression with her experience surfing Tahiti’s shallow, tubing reef passes and France’s many flavors of beach breaks, and there’s very few weaknesses in her game.
3x World Champ Gabriel Medina wrote, “Look at this girl!!!! 14 years old. Wow! Congratulations, @tyazebrowski! Bravo!”
Bravo indeed.
The women’s tour is going to be absolutely ridiculous next season.
