The Boa Vista Pool Has More Buttons Than A Blackberry

It took roughly six years for wavepools to evolve from slow, one-dimensional amoebas into the versatile, protean complexes they are today. (To be clear, the Ranch is the amoeba and the protean complex is Boa Vista.) The WSL’s Amoeba Pro will run May 27-29, 2023 btw.
We previously covered the opening of PerfectSwell’s pool here. For those not into clicking hyperlinks, the pool is located in the in-construction Boa Vista Village, Sao Paulo, which will be a luxury real estate complex with residential facilities and a “very fancy hotel.”
Steep price tag too.
Pool test pilot Evan Geiselman told Stab, “It’s gonna be a private pool for the neighborhood and the hotel at Boa Vista Village. It’s not gonna be open to the public unless you stay at the hotel. It’s a huge project going on.”
The new pool is twice the size of Waco or PerfectSwell’s Japanese pool and with the biggest menu of settings. The double air wave has aptly been titled “The DoubleShot.” According to the PerfectSwell team, there will also be a “variety of a-frame waves, long drainers, new Lowers type waves, and other combinations for the Boa Vista residents and hotel guests to enjoy.”
