Surfer Headed To Hospital After Jeffrey’s Bay Shark Attack

South Africa has a reputation for big fish with big teeth.

Remember that time Mick Fanning heroically fended off the unbecoming advances of a South African Great White shark?

Well, today we’ve received note that a surfer in Jeffrey’s Bay has just been attacked by a shark. They are in stable condition and currently headed to the hospital.

Based solely on the photos, injuries look to be sustained in the leg — and in the surfboard. Wonder if Occy can afford to send this guy a new suit too…
