Surfer Attacked By Shark In Western Australia
Trouble at North Point.
A shark attacked a 46-year-old woman while she was surfing in Western Australia. Spectators say she emerged from the water at Cowaramup Bay Beach, Gracetown, with a bleeding foot.

The incident occurred at about 10:30am Western Australian time. Nearby residents told the ABC an ambulance was seen at the scene.
Surf Life Saving WA teams conducted aerial patrols of the area, which is north of Margaret River and a popular destination for surfers.
Since the incident occurred, The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River has closed the beach. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Margaret River Hospital.
