Prominent Surf Photographer Loses Life To Rare Neck Infection
Rest In Peace, Brad Masters.
Beloved surf photographer Brad Masters has passed away at the age of 41. Masters checked into a Bali hospital six weeks ago after noticing a swollen gland in his jaw. After learning it was a rare infection, Brad went through two major surgeries, but they were unsuccessful. The infection then spread to his lungs and gave him pneumonia. Masters passed shortly after.
Masters’ family released this statement:
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of Brads passing in the early hours of this morning. Brad tried really hard to stay with us, but unfortunately, his body was extremely weak to keep fighting. We will take comfort in the beautiful images he created through his photos and his quirky ways.”
