Viral Memes ‘Island Boys’ Bespoke Performance For Hawaiian Surf Retailer

The Island Boys became internet sensations after their freestyle rap song “Island Boy,” which they sang in a pool, got millions of views and likes on TikTok. The heavily-inked, coral-haired identical twins go by rap names Kodiyakredd and Flyysoulja, respectively.
Since their pool performance went viral they have amassed more than 100M likes and 5M followers across various platforms, becoming viral memes that audience members frequently create their own variations of.
The twins are now offering paid cameos where they will shout out friends and brands with bespoke iterations of their ‘island boy’ song.
Blak Bear Surf Club, a Hawaiian-based online retailer, accessory sponsors of Billy Kemper, Koa Smith, and Tyler Newton were quick to spot the marketing opportunity.
