Is This Snowboard-Inspired Surfboard Even Rideable?
The Side-cut Spoon is a Greg Webber creation.
Greg Webber is a non-stop innovator responsible for some of the most creative experimental board designs in surfing.
In addition to shaping hi-fi boards for the best in the business, Greg has spent his career playing around with bizarre nature-inspired shapes, fins, rockers, channels, testing them with the worlds best. Check the macabre experimentation tab of his website if you would like to be disturbed.
Recently, Greg’s old wack creations have found a new home with 15-year-old ripper and Angourie-based goofy foot, Harley Walters.
Harley has a fantastic youtube channel riding weird and wonderful boards found on gumtree and in old storage containers, that he tries to adapt to his modern-day, progressive style. In this episode he rides a snowboard-inspired Webber with one too many dimensions.
A 5’5.5″ X 14 3/8 X 18 1/8 X 2 3/16
With no concaves, curled keel fins, and a moon trailer, everything about it looks wrong.
Watch Harls make it go.
