Before creating the iconic series Drive Thru, Greg Browning was a former NSSA National Team member & Southwest Division 1991 Champion. He made a career starring in Taylor Steele’s Momentum Generation movies and filling surf magazines with his smooth photogenic style. He never chased the tour but instead got involved early on in the industry side of the business.

Greg’s first venture was a short-lived apparel brand called SEVENTEEN, during that time he was working closely with Taylor Steele learning Surf Film 101. He went on to film, direct and edit a very successful series called the “Drive-Thru”. He came back to his hometown after serving 14 years as Bodyglove’s Entertainment Director. He is currently a freelance cinematographer, editor, contact creator, surf coach, and an all around solid guy.

Recently Greg was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease: A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. In this disease, nerve cells break down, which reduces functionality in the muscles they supply. The cause is unknown. The main symptom is muscle weakness. Medication and therapy can slow ALS and reduce discomfort, but there’s no cure.

“Greg is one of the most giving people I have ever met and we would love to give back to him,” says close friends Keith and Derek Brewer. “We would love for him to live a stress-free life and have all of his future medical bills taken care of. Please help us in raising funds for one of the best Humans ever!”
