Did You Forget About Ruebyn Ash?

JS Surfboards Bali celebrates a year on the islands with a full team edit.

POV: It’s your one-year anniversary living on the Island of the Gods.

Are you:

A) A striking specimen of humanity, monetising your face and physique on balistarz.com, perhaps with a cheeky OnlyFans account on the side?

B) A self-made OnlyFans manager/tycoon, occasionally featuring as a mystery guest?

C) A life-coaching, raw-meat-gobbling conman… sorry, businessman?

D) A Padel coach, specialising in women’s form, focused on forehands, backhands, and the art of intimate ‘physical guidance’?

Surprisingly, you might be none of the above. There’s another possibility: you could be a part of a core surf company that’s decided to set up shop in Canggu.

JS Surfboards Bali’s been open a little over a year, and already, as you’ll see from the edit above, the team has managed to score a mix of well-known and still-under-the-radar zones across the archipelago.

Credit goes to one of the world’s last remaining adventure pirates/surf explorers, Tai Buddha (read about him here). He’s at the helm of a crew made up of a mix of local talent and international heavyweights, including Bronson Meydi, Varun Tandjung, Koby Abberton, and Ruebyn Ash — who, by the way, still fucking rips.

Watch above.
