Nathan Florence And Stand-Up Comedian Brett Kreisler Talk Surfing

Stand-up comedian Bruce Krishner, I mean Brian Kustard, I mean— let’s just call him The Machine. The Machine admittedly knows little about surfing, but he’s developed an affinity for Nathan Florence over the past few months. The comedian (allegedly) resides in his prestigious man cave, inhaling bottles of low-calorie wine on the treadmill while watching Nathan and company tow into massive sets at Jaws.

After weeks and weeks of romanticizing the young Florence’s work ethic, Bert Kreischer finally was able to drag Nathan out of the water for an episode of the Bertcast. The fellas talk about Nathan’s upbringing on the North Shore of Oahu, Bert’s encounter with Andy Irons, and potentially towing the Machine into a wave at Jaws.
