Ain’t That Swell Returns With A 3-Hour Extravaganza

It’s been a while between eps for the Swellian overlords Jed Smith and Vaughan Blakey. Jed has been writing gold cone piece worthy articles, labouring, surfing, and presumably putting the cone piece to good use. Vaughan has been tripping around on Search trips with Mick and Mase and getting the band into line before a string of gigs with the goonies. Now the two have found some time to sit down behind a microphone and talk some utter shit news. 

There’s no fancy guests on this episode, but there’s no lack of content either. They cover topics such as Mick Fanning (hear our podcast ‘MIC’ with Mick here!) , ‘Medina Machina’, ‘meow meows’ and ‘heaps of woozle stuff’. It goes for three hours so its perfect for your Sunday afternoon soundtrack, or break it up into bits for your commute through the week. 

On a side note, here’s an interesting fact, saying ‘WSL’ takes longer than saying ‘World Surf League’. A friend — who doesn’t surf, nor care about it – pointed out how stupid saying WSL is since its four syllables as opposed to World Surf League’s three. So, if you’re time strapped, you should opt for the full name, or wossle/woozle/wozle if you’re looking to add a little Swellian spice to your lexicon. 

Anyway, you’re better off listening to the podcast than reading my drab.
