Watch: He’s Got Hydraulics In His Knees
A distinct backside tube technique with Lucca Mesinas.
How’s your pig dog stance?
Does it check the boxes or need some adjustments? Whatever the problem with your backside barrel stance, Lucas Mesinas can help. His most recent edit, ‘Summer Days At Home,’ is an impressive display of tube-riding. While his body may be compressed, Lucas still finds a way to wiggle his legs and pump through critical sections, almost like he’s got hydraulics in his knees. Is it the most aesthetically pleasing stance we’ve seen? No, but it sure as hell gets the job done.
These Peruvian barrels are tricky. Sure, they stimulate the salivatory glands, but they’re fast. Stumble just a tiny bit on the take-off, and you’re not making it out. Peru must get waves like this often because Mesinas looks like he’s had some practice. This ain’t his first pig-doggin rodeo, and for the sake of my own entertainment, I hope it won’t be his last.
