Jet Ski Carnage During 50 Foot Swell In Hawaii

Saturday’s megaswell created a chaotic scene on the North Shore. 50-foot swells broke on the island’s outer reefs, and about every Jet-ski in Oahu was racing around the lineup.
Clean-up sets rolled through, and the skis scrambled for safety. Some turned around and attempted to outrun the walls of white water. Others put the pedal to the medal, and Mike Latronic launched about 15 feet off the back of the wave (which wasn’t even close to the lunatic on the white ski). Hear his story below:
