We Interrupt The Feed To Bring You 25-Minutes Of The World’s Most Barreled Crossover Star
World Champ kiteboarder Keahi de Aboitiz’s “Tunnel Vision” will make you (briefly) consider equipment changes.
We tend to stick to what we know best, and keep the needle centered on what we find to be surfing’s richest vein: high performance shortboarding.
But every once and a while we drift out of our lane, and usually when something so truly spectacular comes along that we can’t help but take our eyes off the road and crane our necks to see just what the fuck is going on.
That’s the case for “Tunnel Vision,” the brand spanking twenty-five-minute barrel fest that World Champion kiteboarder, world class surfer (Wave of the Winter nominee, even) and SUP-er (possibly forgivable only because of just how gnarly he is on the thing), an over the last year or so he’s hung up his contest singlet and set out to get as barreled as humanly possible with wind assistance on his side.
Click in, sit back, and try and keep track of how many minutes Keahi clocks in the pit over the next 25.
