Stu Kennedy’s South Pacific Training Sessions

In 2016 Stu trotted down the beach at Snapper, armed with a funny-looking Firewire, and took down Kelly Slater, Gabriel Medina and John John Florence. After a few second and third round exits, we thought Mr Kennedy peaked. Then, to our surprise, he finished with a few good results and landed in the 19th spot. He requalified off an injury replacement at the beginning of the season and was left thinking: How’d I get here?  

When this clip came through our inbox we didn’t quite know what to expect. So, we hit play and very much enjoyed it.
