Filipe leaps in darts and lands in the flats with uninterrupted finesse. This flurry of pirouettes are the motions that have made the young Brazilian famous in the water. Recently, we’ve seen a lot of Filipe’s free surfs, and vs the way he surfs heats, the reservation he applies to maximise scoring potential is impressive. But what keeps him in the top ten is that, when necessary, he’ll tally up nines and tens with a single manoeuvre. Although, this clip leaves us questioning one thing: How many of these spins were ski assisted?
