Premiere: The Hemp Revolution

Hemp’s a totally practical and enviro-friendly substance that’s been around forever. However, due to the origin of this awesome material (our old largely un-taxable friend the cannabis plant) the powers that be have severely limited hemp production. Byron Bay surf co Afends have a new found love for hemp, and an awesome new range made out of the lovely stuff. Afends’ passion has manifested in them making a brief history of hemp doco, complete with conspiracy, Rasta, Wayne Lynch, and maximum shredding from the team. The idea’s to raise awareness about the major advantages of hemp, and to encourage the rest of the surf industry to start looking to it as a viable option.
