Mick Fanning hosts the best Cyclone Marcia wrap

“All the forecasters and people that were meant to know what it was meant to do, couldn’t tell,” says Mick Fanning of the highly-documented and much-enjoyed Cyclone Marcia swell that just lit the Gold Coast for five days. “It was just changing, every single hour, every single day. The period of swell we had, I think that’s one of the best ones we’ve had. A week or so of just non-stop waves, as good as it gets in places.”

Yeah, we’ve already seen a ton of footage from the swell, but perhaps none so varied and well-compiled as this, with commentary from Mr Fanning. One more four-and-a-half minute chunk won’t hurt.
