Ryan Callinan has an incredibly good stalefish grab on him. Sure, he made himself most known with an inverted backside spin in the Mentawais for Kai Neville’s Lost Atlas, but when he bounces frontside and grips behind the heel, it’s magic. Kid killed in Hawaii this year, as always, before heading back to Newcastle for Christmas where he’ll enjoy some lazy sessions with his pals, away from the cameras. This is as good a memory as any for Ryno to take home from Hawaii with him. It’s just that special time of year, ain’t it?
