These Are The Two Most Fucked Up Things We’ve Seen On Instagram Today
Dylan Goodale and Benjamin Sanchis achieve inversely proportionate feats of surf.
How often do you look at surfing clip on Instagram and actually say aloud, “What the fuck?”
If you’re anything like us hardened cynics of the surfing world, the answer is not all that often. Yet today, in the space of just a few hours, two sub-minute clips arrested our scroll and made us rethink the boundaries of the sport. We figured we’d share these moments with our readers, in case they’re the especially evolved type of specimen who altogether avoids the Gram.
First came Dylan Goodale’s improbable wake-to-wake air rev behind a boat – the only of its kind, as most are saying.
And the only thing you can say after watching that is What. the. fuck. The way Dylan lofts across the wake and lands softly on the other side, only to spin around and keep surfing is truly remarkable.
Dan Bilzerian is perhaps the only person who could recreate such a feat.
And if you happen to disagree, here are a few of the comments from some of surfing (and skating)’s greatest aerialists to prove you dead wrong:
@live.fast.die.old (Albee Layer): Yo that might of been the best thing I’ve ever seen
@brettbarley: That was mental!
@dylangraves: Fuck yeah that was sick!
@koasmith: Soooooo sick!!!!
@josh_kerr84: That was so sick mate! You know how happy this makes me!
@evanmock: what!!!!!!
@currencaples: Swag fool
@tajamos: What!
@live.fast.die.old (back for more): Dude imagine if u could do that surfing for real!?
Nuff said.
The next clip is of Benjamin Sanchis and comes via Stab’s own Instagram, which might seem a little ingratiating on the surface but once you watch the clip and understand.
The snowboarding part at the start was dope as fuck, and that tube is downright stupid. About halfway through watching this for the first time, I literally thought, “Man, it would have been so cool if he had somehow came out of that.” Four seconds later, poof! Benji was riding on shoulder like nothing had even happened.
And for reference, that clip took place in France. When was the last time you saw France that big, let alone big and clean? And when was the last time you saw a camera so bad?
And just for good measure, let’s include Natxo Gonzales’ Nazaré 10 from a few days back. It’s also very, very worthy.
