Surf Snowdonia Closes Again!

This just in: wave pools are really fucking hard to maintain. Surf Snowdonia is forced to close down once again, due to a tear in the liner of the lagoon. A tear I can only assume was the result of having too many swordsman in ‘the world’s best wave pool’ over the Red Bull UNLEASHED competition. Too much water displacement, the pool couldn’t handle the pressure of Albee Layer’s rail and tail flicks. This is the second time since late August the wave pool will have to drain it’s six million gallons, which they should just go ahead and ship to California, there’s a drought there or something… The pool will close and drain once again later today. And you know it’s serious when Snowdonia brings out their most esteemed spokeswoman, “Surf Snowdonia regrets to announce that it’s surf lagoon will have to close for two days,” the lovely gal said as an crowd gasped and awed on the other side of their computer screens. “The closure is due to a tear in the lagoon liner which is allowing water to leak,” she continued. Nobody likes a leaky lagoon. Surfer’s who booked for today will not be affected, the mechanical waves will roll on. “Surf Snowdonia is very sorry for the disruption and disappointment,” added the ever-so eloquent Snowdonia spokeswoman. “The Company would like to assure its customers that they are working as fast as possible to rectify the problem.” Oh, thank heavens!
