A walk-by can really ruin a sequence. Just ask Jack Taylor, who recently fired off these shots of Michael Spencer at Dixon Park, on Australia’s east coast. The man walking in front of the camera, unaware of what’s going on either side of him, very nearly ruined these shots. Luckily though, he was moving with decent pace and, from the left side of the camera (in the main shot), he made it to the other side before too much damage was done.
Michael’s a swell cat – for work, he looks after less-fortunate kids and in his spare time blazes turns like this (and a whole lot more). As you can see pictured here, he favours a Haydenshapes Psychedelic Germ, the brainchild of Waz Smith. “It’s all I ride,” he says. “I can’t get off the thing. It goes so well in all kinds of waves.” And judging by the quality of this finner, Spenny ain’t wrong about the sled, either.
