Y’know a banquet’s tame when the highlight is a man in Victorian dress, escorted by a man in a halter neck gown. Actually, that’s a pretty worthy highlight. Last night, at the ASP Surfing Awards on the Gold Coast, Matt Wilkinson and his filmer Nick Pollet slid in a little late through the backstage entrance. “They arrived to everyone else on the WT with their jaws touching the floor,” says photog Ryan Miller, who shot this. Shock and awe is Wilko’s game, so this is no surprise. But the sexy escort wasn’t the only trick. Says Ryan: “If Nick’s hot attire wasn’t enough to give the WT crew a good laugh, he then brought out a pretty little pink dildo from his purse and made a few phone calls on it.” And, the results of the evening?
