Yesterday Someone Let Us Throw A Rager In Their Mansion
An ol’ fashioned Stab party in Tamarama.
Remember the pre-bust days, before we knew what the three-letter collection GFC meant?
The best Stab times, when we used to throw parties in our unwitting friend’s mansions, when we had the audacity to encourage daytime hedonism in other people’s homes? We missed those days. A lot.
Fortunately, so did Summer Bright Lager and yesterday they helped us bring in the start of summer with a good ol’ fashioned Stab party in Sydney. Ironically, it poured with rain.
That did not disgruntle us or our attendees, many already in their bathers. This shift in weather was the gentle nudge needed to cram everyone should-to-shoulder, in our living room dance floor. The vibes inside cast out by Halfway Crooks DJ, Captain Franco.
We set up a giant magazine cover and stood on the grass to observe the influx of our friends pouring into the estate in the early hours of a Saturday afternoon.
We drank well, as the afternoon wore on, and our friends Life Without Andy were there to document the scene. Due to the rain and the cost of repairs to soggy camera gear, we missed the moment the party dove into the pool fully-clothed.
Our bar staff kept a watchful eye on consumption, though no one was left empty handed. The guest’s wolfed back tacos, before heading out into a Bondi night that would stretch into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Today, we reminisce on our outlandish soiree, filled with all of you who were kind enough to join us, our friends, through the gallery above.
