Jordy Lawler, South Coast lien, NSW

Australia is currently in the throws of winter. Which is a good time to be an Australian surfer, because the swell comes on strong. Jordy Lawler, a goofyfooter from North Narrabeen in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, burned down the South Coast yesterday with photographer Andrew Christie for a change of scenery. They landed at a ramped-out left and Jordy lit it up, which you can see in the form of motion footage, right here. This is one of the larger hucks he threw during the day, and even if it ain’t landed, it’s still an excellent moment.
