Mason Ho’s videos are like Tarantino films.

The music is great, the scenes are longer and slower than other Vlogs, you are aesthetically pleased the entire time, and you fear somebody may get hurt at any moment.

Mason even seductively brandishes his murder weapon at the end of each video.

This cinematic flair is what lead one Youtube commenter to provide us with this article’s title, mentioning that this smorgasbord of characters is akin to a “Justice League” of professional surfers who seldom don a jersey but who collectively form our idea of what surfing is today.

They also sell a lot of t-shirts.

And at the end of the day that is what puts the “professional” in “professional surfer” anyways — brand exposure. And given the fact that Mason won “Best Youtube” in our Stab Surfer of the Year poll, I think Mason’s direct deposits will continue to flow to him and subsequently the content I like to see will continue to flow to us.

As Brad Pitt said in Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, “He’s Mason fucking Ho. Don’t you forget it.” Or something like that.
