Raw BTS: Ian Crane, Rasta Robb, And Friends Embrace Cultural Customs, Refrain From Going Left
A new perspective on their Moroccan expedition.
In Morocco, the left hand is reserved for bathroom hygiene and dirty chores. It is incredibly rude to eat, shake hands, give a gift, or leave a tip with your left hand. If you ever get invited to a Moroccan local’s home, be sure to only touch your cup — and any fruit or bread — with your right hand.
The fact that all of Morocco’s best waves also happen to be righthanders is a syntactic coincidence which O’Neill capitalized on for the title of their recent Strike Mission clip, which you can watch here.
Above, we’re given a more raw look at their cast of characters, as they maraud through foreign cuisines, rifling pointbreaks, and unfamiliar hospitals.
Make sure you watch til the end, to see lowkey Portuguese talent Guilherme Ribeiro close the clip with some unique mid-tube elasticity.
