Gallery: We Got Nominated For A Surfer Poll Award (And Lost!)

As we write this, the North Shore is getting all dolled up. Sandals are getting shined, aloha prints pressed. 

The Surfer staff is sprinting around Turtle Bay, locating talent, pinning down hosts, making sure these fuckers stick to the script, wondering what unseen backlash is awaiting their forthcoming decisions. We, on the other hand, are double-fisting beers in preparation for the night that will be. We think Rory even got some acid.

Which, did you know Stab got nominated for a Surfer Poll? Pretty cool. 

But of course they couldn’t let us win. Sure, “The Dock” got a few views, but there’s no way we’re gonna be allowed to accept an award. Anyway, watch below, if you’d like.
