Come and Watch Stab In The Dark On The Gold Coast This Weekend
Mick, Dane, Jordy, Pumping J-Bay, Booze…
If you’re in striking range of the Gold Coast this weekend then clear the schedule Saturday night.
Why? Well, it’s summer. There’s not a sniff of surf on the horizon for the foreseeable future. And, most pertinently, we’re showing Stab in The Dark on at the Dust Temple in Currumbin, all ages, for free.

Regular setting, irregular clientele.
Stab in the Dark 2019 is the All Stars edition. Instead of throwing another surfer into our blind surfboard taste test, we rounded up those who’ve already completed the survey (Jordy Smith, Dane Reynolds, Mick Fanning – Julian Wilson, unfortunately stumped by his hefty schedule) and sent them to Africa. What ensued was the usual blend of chaos and beauty, but most importantly, another engaging piece of cinema featuring three of the world’s best surfers riding the world’s cleanest surfboards.

As if you’d pass on watching Mick, Dane and Jordy trading waves of this calibre…
We’ve thrown a couple of good bashes at the Dust Temple over the years, and return safe in the knowledge that it’s a great place to watch surfing and hang out. Doors are at 7, brews are courtesy of Jamesons and Gage Road Brewing Co, and all the good times have been put on in conjunction with our pals at Surfboard Empire.
