Watch Mason Ho Samples New Wedges In Waco

When we were told American Wave Machines and Perfect Swell would hand us the keys to their control booth (while supervised, obviously), Mason Ho was the first gent who came to mind.

So, we reached out, and said something to the effect of, “Hey Mase, you wanna design three new wedges in Waco?” And Mason said something to the effect of, “Fuck yeah! Sounds siiiick” accompanied by plenty of shaka and 100 percent emojis. And with that, “A Wedge Affair,” was born.

We booked the pool. We enlisted multi-board specialist, Blair Conklin, who proceeded to blow us away with how high a finless disc could fly. We, along with the head Perfect Swell Wave engineers Willy McFarland and Miquel Lazaro, produced four new waves now on tap at BSR Surf Resort.
