Vestal Knows how to Throw a 4 Day/Night Get Down!

The first weekend of Coachella kicked off last weekend and with it the Vestal Village. Deep in the mountains of La Quinta, Vestal hosts an invite only three day/four night celebration in a campground on a lake, equipped with a pool and floating citrus slices dive into the ether on. The event’s so groovin’ that most folks don’t even go to Coachella, they just boogie at the village. There’s no need to fork out the 400 dollars, although if you have the means, the festie’s a serious time. LCD Soundsystem’s reunion was quite the treat, along with plenty of other groups fit to wiggle your ever-softening bones to. But the Vestal Village comes fit with its own lineup, free drinks around the pool and at the campground’s speakeasy, and live music from three pm to midnight. The Village featured such acts as Crystal Castles and Paul Fisher’s Cutsnake to assist the poolside vibes into late along with a few surprise guests; Dead Sara, The Pink Slips (who we recommend you lend an ear) amongst many others.

While drifting through the campground and the pool parties, it’s impossible to not let your head swivel. The amount of lovely birds frolicking around in near-to-nothing was outstanding. The Vestal Village is where all the pro’s go to party, around the area you could find Luke Davis, Travis Logie, Dylan Goodale, Albee Layer, Koa Smith, Balaram Stack, Oliver Kurtz and more enjoying the god damn good time gifted by our dear friends at Vestal.

Coachella’s second go round will commence… well this upcoming weekend. The Vestal Village was a first weekend only deal and those who went know, it was the most carefree, audibly eccentric, vibed out party in the desert. Those cats sure know how to throw a four day banger! Find your inner consciousness, let it expand and fly away…
