The Deus Surf Swap Was A Gas

They couldn’t have picked a better day to stack the hundred-odd vintage boards around Bondi Pavilion. A labour day long weekend, clear skies and no more than an inch of swell running to distract even the most enthusiastic weekend warrior. The Balter Brewing tins circled and the live music kept rolling throughout the day for the tenth annual Deus Surf Swap. There were twin fin exhibitions, film premieres, live board shaping, retro skate displays, banging tunes and day-tipsy heads bopping around en masse.
