Rad Cars with Rad Boards

This ain’t hard to love. POP Studio’s Mark Wiesmayr (a dear friend of Stab) has put together a new project Rad Cars with Rad Surfboards, and the work of Kevin Butler, which appears on his blog, which will now appear (physically) in the form of an art show. It’s a pretty self-explanatory title – this is all about cars with sleds on the roof. Browse the tumblr and you’ll get a vibe and, if you own a combination like this, and live near Culver City, drive your rad car (with rad board) to The POP Gallery on August 25. And park it outside. “We want you, or that special car/surf person in your life, or in the local car park, to bring your/their rad car along, with boards, to make an incredibly memorable spectacle. Of course there’ll be beers, toons, good conversations and sights, and Kevin’s view of our surf vehicles and the boards he pairs with them.” Check out the Tumblr here.
