Now…This: Karina Rozunko’s Go-To Breakfast Is Unforgivable

A chat with the lady glider on submarines, squirrels, and sauerkraut before noon.

Welcome back to Now… This, the interview series that leaves readers questioning how I got this job in the first place. Enough about me, let’s talk about Rini.

Karina Rozunko is the epitome of grace. With little effort, her careful cross-step morphs into a ‘just cruisin’ attitude on land.

Given Rini’s outgoing personality, I figured she was a perfect candidate for my silly antics. That, and the fact that she actually answered my DM.

Don’t be shy, scroll down and get weird with it.

Stab: What’s your Spirit Animal?

Karina Rozunko: Squirrel.

What noise does a squirrel make? Make it now, make it loud.

Would you rather have a helicopter or a submarine?

The submarine would be cool; I’d like to see the depths of the ocean. That’d be kind of sweet, as long as I wasn’t driving it.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

Time Travel. You can just go to different eras—Meet people, hang out with relatives that passed. It would be like a little vacation, just all the time. I mean, since we can’t travel on airplanes right now might as well travel time … and space.

Favorite breakfast food?

Coffee. Actually, you know what I’ve been doing recently for breakfast? Sauerkraut, straight from the jar.

Editors Note: Sauerkraut is smelly and gross, and after a quick outburst, I made my opinions towards Sauerkraut very clear. Source: CartoonStock

Favorite song right now?

Catwalk by Beat Happening.

How many pairs of shoes do you have in rotation?

Oh my gosh, I have so many. Honestly, I love wearing one pair of shoes until they die, and then I rotate to a different shoe.

Favorite article of clothing?

I had this pair of jeans that that weren’t even wearable anymore and I was still rocking them. They had holes in the front, back, everywhere. They were just so broken in and comfy, I couldn’t let em go.

A household chore you’ve been putting off for a longtime?

I don’t know; I’m pretty good with that kind of shit…maybe.… Oh no, I know what it is— I have a pile of clothes that stacks up and stacks up. It’s a full-on mountain.

Favorite surf clip right now? Girls Can’t Surf. I saw it in theaters; it was so good. I thought it was so sick how they took a stand.
