Kelly Slater’s New Shades

Kelly Slater has produced a signature eyewear model with Electric! KS’ relationship with the optical brand started when the Kering group added his fab new venture Outerknown to their diverse roster, which already featured hi-fash brands like Gucci and Saint Laurent, as well as Volcom and Electric Visuals. The shades are made in the most environmentally friendly manner possible, as we’ve come to expect from Kelly’s ventures; the frames are constructed from a plant-based polymer that keeps the CO2 produced during manufacturing to a minimum. The packaging is made from recycled consumer paper and the soft case, featuring Kelly’s signature, is made from bamboo! Expect Kelly’s world title assault next year to be immaculately dressed and hidden behind dark glasses.
