This that good shit.

Three aerial pioneers and Albee Layer visit a right air bowl somewhere “in the islands”. They set up camp, pick some snails, and proceed to test the structural integrity of their lower joints for some unknown number of days.

Eventually, Albee reaches his breaking point. He just can’t take it anymore. So he throws his helmet to the ground and confronts his friend/world-mover John Florence.

Albee: Try the double-oop, just one time man.
John: If I get a section I might try it.
Albee: I don’t think you will…
John: You just want to see me fail because you made one.
Albee: No, I want to see you succeed so it becomes cool. So it’s not like some stupid novelty thing that only I do.

A beautiful moment caught on film. Almost as beautiful as Albee landing the aforementioned double-oop and nearly falling on the claim.

“The claim was the most technical part of the ride,” Albee later explained. “I had to flex on John.”

Also featured: Nate Florence landing a backflip and Matt Meola continuing to jump off buildings for fun.
