Baking soda purges!
It’s just too tempting, the dietary program of Mr Hamilton. GQ had to know, we had to show you! It’s far from your two eggs and sourdough toast morning, followed by the heavily dressed cheeseburger for lunch. His daily eats are soothing, meditative, clean cut and calculated. “When things don’t have an effect I stop using them. At one point I was drinking a lot of lemon water in order to eat more alkaline,” Laird told GQ. “I learned you can’t eat your way into alkalinity. My approach is mathematical. If the math doesn’t pan out then I will question it. There’s always stuff that doesn’t sound right even if it is, but you still learn to use your instincts. Your body is smarter than you give it credit for.” The man starts each day off with a “baking soda purge,” essentially, baking soda dissolved in water (prevents the build up of lactic acids in Laird’s many muscles).

Laird’s Daily Diet Exposed:
Breakfast:
Tablespoon of baking soda dissolved in water
Espresso with coconut oil
During the day:
Kombucha
Turmeric juice
Lunch:
Fish with roasted cauliflower and arugula salad
Dinner:
Beef vegetable stew
