'Vacation Presented By Monster Energy' Is Live Now

Toonlyfe: Drew Toonz

Current, irreverent and god damn humorous.

Drew Toonz is the not-so-guilty pleasure that streams through our Insta feed. From surfing to politics, current events and outright battles with the easily offended screen tappers of IG, it’s all pretty spot on. It’s the nice societal fuck you in the morning that I’m inclined to agree with.

The emo cat spends his time between Southern California, New Jersey, Philadelphia and the North Shore. He’s been contributing his humour to the surf world for some time now. He’s done murals for the Triple Crown, all the animation for the Volcom Pipe Pro and the classic Gavin and Barney’s Space Adventure. His art’s on apparel for Volcom, Stance, Third Stone Surfboards and he’s done work for musical artists such as Pepper, Trouble Andrew, Santigold and Lil Wayne. We wanted to know what made Mr Toonz tick and fired over a series of questions, to which he responded in comics.

Describe yourself?

Where are you from?

 Current events?

What makes the best comic?

You surf?

Where do you wish you were right now?

 Donald Trump?

Current mood?

Anything else we should know about you?
