You may have heard that Slowtide is running a make your own towel comp. Well, while there’s still three weeks left until the winner is announced, we thought we’d provide you a little inspiration to enter.

The comp is as follows:

All you need to do is enter a piece of original artwork, or a photo you snapped, make sure they’re in a rectangular format and upload to Instagram with the hashtag #slowtidecreativecanvas and tag @slowtide. It doesn’t have to be a new shot, or an unseen piece of art, but it does have to be your own.

So, why bother?

Well, because the winner cops $500 cash, plus $500 in Slowtide gear, and a limited run of 50 towels with their print upon it. Now, Slowtide has worked with photographers and artists like Takashi Murakami, Don Pendleton, Clark Little, and Ty Williams in the past, now, they’re just trying to find their next collab.

Anyway, inspect the below gifs for a quick look at the current front runners.

If you are considering entering, then you have until 12pm PST on the 31st of May to do so.

Happy art-ing.
