You’re Gonna Click On A New Oscar Langburne Video
Style that can’t be denied.
Like Oscar Langburne’s languid style, his newest edit is carried out in a thoughtful, effortless fashion. Each guitar note or artful piece of cinematography feels carefully placed, weaving their way between very digestible footage of Oscar shimmying along a variety of left-handed dancefloors.
Apparently, Oscar’s original plan for the film had not included such a lengthy stay in the Indonesian archipelago, and as such, he broke the bank a bit. Despite this, the 19-year-old isn’t frantically focused on making money off this release. At least, not for himself.
Oscar is hoping to use the funds from a local premiere of this clip and the sale of “Wear No Flag” T-shirts to aid in Sumatran wildlife conservation.
Ellis Park Wildlife Sanctuary is a sanctuary in South Sumatra, started by musician Warren Ellis, — whose music is in the above edit — and they need funds to feed animals, build new enclosures, and generally do good things. Oscar wants to use his platform to help. You can donate on their site, if you feel so inclined. Oscar is also planning a fundraiser sometime in November.
Commendable work from the young Australian.
The edit is really good too.
