A chip-shot into a sweet little funnel that scurries out to sea with its dying breath. If you’re quick and nimble enough, you can negotiate this kink and escape from the high-to-low doggydoor. If you’re not, well, your ear’s gonna have that small-puddle-inside feeling for the next week or so.

I’m genuinely curious how Mason and Sheldon keep finding these novelty slabs. Are they just driving around the island and aimlessly turning down roads when there’s swell in the water? Do they get tipped-off by Google Earth-savvy Youtube fans? Or are they simply called to the spots by some benevolent Hawaiian spirits?
