William Aliotti’s Abstract Approach To High Performance Surfing
Featuring twin fins, big airs, and dinosaurs from space.
William Aliotti’s approach to wave dancing is unique. While he often rides a volume-packed fish, his surfing is anything but lax. He powers through drawn-out turns and launches airs that leave thruster loyalists scratching their heads. Aggressive high-performance surfing on a short, stubby, and thick slice of foam—weird, right?
Perhaps the only thing more strange is the animation in William’s latest second episode of his most recent project, Wax That Covid. How do I define weird? An animated, pot-head space dinosaur usually does the trick. Oh, and don’t forget you can chop his tail off and use his blood as wax.
Not strictly necessary, but I’d recommend rolling one up before clicking play.
